A 100-minute tango show in San Telmo with a live orchestra and four dancing couples, available as show only or with a three-course dinner.
Tango was born in the port districts of Buenos Aires, and it is still seen at its best where it started: in the old high-ceilinged halls of San Telmo.

About this show
The show is performed with a live four-piece orchestra, a singer and four dancing couples. The repertoire runs from the earliest tangos of the 1900s through the Carlos Gardel classics to Piazzolla's modern tango. It lasts around 100 minutes and there is no playback: bandoneón, piano, double bass and violin all play on stage. The room seats 200 and the tables are arranged in tiers, so the stage is clearly visible from the back rows too.

Practical Information
Dinner ticket holders are admitted at 8:00 pm and show-only guests at 9:45 pm. Tables are assigned in advance according to ticket type; those next to the stage are limited and carry a supplement. Photos without flash are allowed during the performance; video recording is limited to short clips because of performers' rights. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the show; no refund afterwards. The venue is wheelchair accessible, just mention it when booking.
Group Discounts
We offer special rates and reserved tables for groups from 15 people; from 25 passengers one place is free. Group bookings can also include transfers, a Spanish-speaking escort and adapted menus. Contact us for a quote.

There is no strict rule, but since this is a dinner venue most guests go for smart casual: a shirt or jacket for men, a dress or tailored trousers for women. Shorts, flip-flops and sports shirts can cause problems at the door. The room is air-conditioned, so a light layer is worth bringing.
The dinner ticket includes a set three-course menu, with Argentinian beef and an alternative main course. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal requests can be handled provided they are notified at least 48 hours in advance so the kitchen can prepare them. Drinks with dinner (water, house wine and soft drinks) are included; premium wines and cocktails are paid separately.
Transfer is not included, but a round-trip service from central Buenos Aires hotels can be added for 25 euros per person. If you make your own way, San Telmo is 10 to 20 minutes by taxi or ride-hailing app from the centre. Dinner ticket holders should be at the venue by 20:00; show-only ticket holders by 21:45.
