About this show
The dhow is the wooden sailing vessel used for centuries in the Gulf for pearling and trade; in Dubai it lives on as a dinner boat. The Marina route leaves the yacht club and sails past the Cayan Tower, the Princess Tower and the Marina Walk promenade as far as Bluewaters Island and the Ain Dubai observation wheel, showing the modern city from water level. Dinner is served buffet style: Arabic mezze, grills, international hot dishes and desserts, with vegetarian and vegan options and halal-certified meat. Midway through the cruise a tanoura dance is performed on deck.

Practical Information
Boarding starts 30 minutes before departure at the Marina Walk jetty; the boat does not wait for late arrivals and no refund is given in that case. Tables are allocated by ticket type: on a first-come basis for standard and upper deck, and reserved in your name for VIP. The dhow is a fully enclosed vessel sailing inside the sheltered Marina, so seasickness is very rare. Pushchairs cannot be kept on deck and are left at the jetty. If the port authority cancels the sailing because of strong wind or fog, we offer a date change or a full refund.
Group Discounts
Special rates apply from 15 guests, and from 30 guests a section of the boat or the whole vessel can be booked privately. Contact us for a group proposal.

FAQ
The Marina dhow is licensed: beer, wine and cocktails can be bought at the boat's bar and are paid separately. Soft drinks, water and tea are included in the ticket price. During Ramadan no alcohol is served and dinner is offered after sunset.
The code is smart casual: beachwear, swimsuits and vest tops are not accepted. Long trousers or neat shorts for men, comfortable clothing covering the shoulders for women. The upper deck is breezy after dark, so from November to March a light jacket is worth bringing.
From June to September it stays around 32–35 °C with high humidity even at night. In those months we suggest booking the air-conditioned lower deck and going up only briefly for the show and photographs. Window tables on the lower deck are allocated on a first-come basis.
