About this show
Garden Rhapsody is a roughly 15-minute light and sound show in which the 18 Supertrees, between 25 and 50 metres tall, are lit in time with a soundtrack that carries across the whole grove. These structures are more than scenery: they hold over 150,000 plants, collect rainwater and act as ventilation exhausts for the conservatories. Our programme adds a guided walk through the gardens beforehand and dinner at Satay by the Bay, so you get the city’s most photogenic evening and the engineering behind it.

Practical Information
The show runs every evening at 19:45 and 20:45, outdoors on the lawn, with no numbered seating. Your guide positions the group at a good spot about 20 minutes beforehand. The nearest MRT station is Bayfront (Downtown and Circle lines), a short covered walk from the gardens. Humidity stays high even after dark, so light clothing, insect repellent and water are worth having. If it rains the pass may be delayed or cancelled; in that case it is moved to the following evening or refunded. Smoking is banned in the gardens and on public transport, littering is fined, and durian is not allowed.

There are two passes: 19:45 and 20:45. The first coincides with nightfall, so you watch the Supertrees light up while the sky is still blue, which is the best light for photographs, and it is usually less crowded. The second is seen in full darkness and the colours look more intense. Evenings after rain tend to have the clearest air.
Yes. The standard ticket includes a set dinner at Satay by the Bay (one main dish, a side and a soft drink). Vegetarian, vegan or halal options are arranged if you tell us when booking. Alcoholic drinks are not included.
Garden Rhapsody itself is free and open to everyone at the Supertree Grove; what you book with us is the guide, dinner and the arrangements. There are no numbered seats: lying on the lawn gives the best angle. Your guide places the group at a good spot about 20 minutes before the pass. The show lasts about 15 minutes.
