Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the camp holds a licence and sells beer, wine and spirits at the bar, paid separately. Soft drinks, water, tea and Arabic coffee are unlimited and included. Alcohol is not served during Ramadan, and drinking in public places outside licensed venues is not permitted in the UAE.

We do not recommend it for pregnant women, guests with back, neck or heart problems, or children under 3. If that applies to you, tell us when booking and we will arrange a dune-free transfer straight to the camp at the same price, so you keep the sunset, dinner and show.

Light comfortable clothing and closed shoes or sandals you do not mind filling with sand. From November to March desert evenings drop to around 15 °C after dark, so bring a jacket. In summer take sunglasses, sunscreen and plenty of water; the camp is open-sided and stays warm well into the night.
