About 7 kilometres on the Macuco Trail, flat but unpaved, in roughly three hours with stops; the 4x4 and boat sections involve no walking. The boat ride is not open to children under 12, pregnant women, or anyone with back, neck or heart conditions, and you must be able to climb in and out of an inflatable boat unaided. If part of the group prefers to skip the trail, they can wait at the visitor centre.
Completely soaked. The boat drives into the spray of two waterfalls, and there is no dry seat. Wear a swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel, a full change of clothes and shoes that can get wet. A dry bag for phones, cameras and documents is provided and stays on the boat, but nothing loose should be carried in your hands.
No, the national park entrance fee is not included in this price; you can add it as a supplement or show your ticket if you already have one. This tour covers the trail, the 4x4 and the boat only. The Devil's Throat and the Upper and Lower Circuits are a separate full-day tour, and many travellers book both on consecutive days, which also gives a 50% discount on the second day's park ticket.
