How to check the licence
The travel agency licence is granted by Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and TÜRSAB —the travel agency association, membership of which is compulsory— maintains the public register that lets you check it.
- Open the member agencies register (“Üye Seyahat Acentaları”) on tursab.org.tr. Check in the TÜRSAB register
- Choose the search by name or licence number (“Adı veya belge numarası ile seyahat acentası arama”).
- Type 12116 in the “Belge No” field, digits only, without the letter or the hyphen, and press “ARA”.
- Check that the result corresponds to Colorido Tours and that the number matches A-12116.
Only the official TÜRSAB register confirms a licence. Look-alike websites offering agency “lookups” are not TÜRSAB.
Second source: the Ministry of Culture and Tourism register
The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism publishes its own lookup of licensed agencies. Search by licence number (“Belge Numarası”) with the same number and check the document status (“Belge Durumu”).

Licensed guides in Spanish and English. Tourist guide licences are issued by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and only licensed guides may lead visits in the country.
